IdleHands has been percolating a long, long time.
Initially, I wanted to create a space where I could leave creative droppings as they occurred to me. Designs, writings, music, videos. You know, for fun. But, with the advent of Facebook, Call of Duty, and other screen-based distractions, I’ve found it necessary to launch IdleHands as a disciplinary measure. My goal is simple: add something new every day. If I’m bored, I’ll be bored here. If I’m stuck on a project, I’ll work it out in IdleHands Workshop.
As for you? If you’ve found this site, my guess is you’re pretty bored too. “Welcome aboard!” Or should I say, “Welcome a-bored!“?
No, I shouldn’t. Go with the first one.
